Terms of Service for Saga

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Saga application ("Saga" or the "App"), provided by Norse Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Saga, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Saga is a video journaling application that allows you to create, store, and manage video entries on your personal device. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

2. User Content and Cloud Storage

All content you create with Saga, including videos, audio, and text ("User Content"), is stored on your device and/or your personal iCloud account. While we store your User Content in the cloud, we do not access or use it without your explicit permission. You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of creating and storing it.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to your User Content. You agree not to create any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.

By using Saga, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and manage your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your information. We use third-party services to store and process data, and we ensure that these services comply with industry standards for data protection.

4. Intellectual Property

The Saga App, including its design, features, and underlying code, is the exclusive property of Norse Ventures LLC and its licensors, protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not modify, copy, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our App.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Saga is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norse Ventures LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the use of the App.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Norse Ventures LLC is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will provide notice through the App or by updating the date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the App after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
